She studied art at Pratt Institute in New York, and worked as a commerical artist and art director for ten years, before deciding to paint professionally. "I love painting Maine scenes that depict the simplicity of our lifestyle." She and her husband paint many locations, including Monhegan, Orr's & Bailey Islands, Kennebunkport and the Camden area. Sarah's expressive and realistic marine and coastal oil paintings are available at her gallery & studio in Bath, Maine; and exclusively in Kennebunkport at the Morris Trainor Gallery in the heart of Dock Square.
