As you can see, I'm a busy New England watercolor illustrator, writer and artist. I teach art to children and adults in the Boston area. I am continually inspired by Boston, its people, and the city and surroundings. We had a home on the Maine coast (York Harbor, the Point) for almost 30 years, so the spirit of Maine will always be part of my art and writing. 1. WATERCOLOR PRINTS OF MASSACHUSETTS. BOSTON, HOTEL MERIDIAN, OLD STATE HOUSE, FENWAY PARK, BROOKLINE, BEACON HILL, BELMONT, BOSTON COLLEGE, CAMBRIDGE, CHESTNUT HILL MALL, CONCORD, NEWTON CENTRE, OSTERVILE (CAPE COD), WELLESLEY, WINCHESTER. I give these historic old builldings new life and make them modern with my watercolors. They are vibrant with the spirit of Boston. Watercolor prints of Boston make a nice gift for anyone who loves Boston and watercolors! 2. PORTRAITS FROM YOUR PHOTO. I think everyone should have at least a Black and white pencil portrait done every year on their birthday, as they used to do in France. I will only say that people are more beautiful than they think they are. I try to show that hidden beauty. A portrait makes a unique and lasting gift, for anyone at any age. Don't let another year go by without a portrait! I draw pencil/charcoal renditions (see sample), 11' x 14", and I include two (2) copies of the same size. I draw from photos (1 person per photo). The original is matted, only. Price at this time (2008) is $150. which includes shipping. I use USPS priority 2-day mail. Please call and email when you are ready to send, so that I know to expect it. I prefer the real photo to an online photo. I will also email you when your photo is received, and will email, or call when it's in the mail to you. Depending on my schedule, I can usually return back in 2 weeks. Requests for Christmas for Dec. 10, please. 3. CASEY THE BEACON HILL CAT I have written and illustrated 4 books in the "CASEY THE BEACON HILL CAT" series. This is a set of coloring books which are sold as a set for $40.00. Please print the child's name to be inscribed. 4. "DRAW WITH JANE", the DVD; 6 1/2-hour Drawing Lessons, suitable for all ages. Never be snowed in at an airport, or at home, with nothing to do! This will give you the freedom and privacy of learning to draw at your own pace.
