Mary Ann Kennedy, born in New Haven, Connecticut, has had a life-long interest in art. Employed from 1977 - 1987 as an administrative assistant and book-keeper at a Portsmouth, NH law firm, Mary Ann now devotes all her time to her career and family.

Tough primarily self-taught, she has studied under artists in New Jersey, Connecticut, Portsmouth, NH and the University of NH, where she holds an Associate in Art Degree.

Mrs Kennedy has exhibited in several New England juried shows, including the Newburyport Art Show, The Scituate (Rhode Island) Art Festival, York Art In The Park, The Old Port Equinox Fair, and several local arts festivals.

The paintings depict her love of New England and its beautiful scenes of landscapes in both watercorlor and oils. Her work is on exhibit at Tulips in Portsmouth, NH and the Seacoast Art Gallery in Exeter, NH.

Mrs Kennedy is a member of the Seacoast Artists Association Maine and York Art Association Maine.
