At Arrowsic Island Pottery we produce fine, handcrafted, stoneware pottery and unique ceramic gifts items. All of our work is handmade by us in our studio - either wheel-thrown or hand-built. Our functional pieces are high-fired to 2380 degrees F for durability and our dinnerware glazes are food safe, dishwasher safe, microwaveable and oven proof.

We're located in mid-coast Maine bordering a beautiful tidal saltwater marsh on Arrowsic Island, 10 minutes from historic Bath. The changing rhythms of the tides and seasons that direct the activities of the plants and animals on the island, guide our lives and work -our art- as well. For example, our newest work "Wild Impressions" was inspired by our woodland walks. We've tried to capture some of the beauty of the wildflowers and plants we see there in the clay of our plates, bowls, ikebanas and marker boards.  We invite you to visit our studio/gallery open 9-5 everyday or view more of our work on-line.
