In order to add your listing to The Maine Art Directory, you must first register - use the Login on the left and click on "Register". Once the form is completed , you will receive an email. Please click on the confirmation link provided in the welcome email. If your don't see your confirmation email, please check your spam box.

Before you add a listing or an event, please read the "HOW TO.." pages - links on the left menu! Thank you.
How to create your first listing
First login - then click on the link "Add a listing" on the top menu - a new form will appear. Please enter your company name - address - county - zipcode - state - phone number (skip country) - website and email. Now you will give a detailed description of who you are and all about your art (check the other detailed pages to view the amount of text) - PLEASE DO NOT COPY AND PASTE FROM A WORD DOCUMENT - enter your description without changing font size or font family.
Your description should not go below the bottom of the last image.
PLEASE do NOT change the font size or font family. The site should keep it's overall look, without having one page with huge, bold, cap font and another one with tiny letters, don't you think?
Once you are done with the description, scroll down - click on "categories" - choose 2 categories you would like your information to appear in. For each additional category there will be a charge of $10/year) - click on the middle arrow to send the chosen categories to the box on the right (if you made a mistake, send the wrong category back to the left with the left arrow).
Now you are ready to upload your logo: click on "images" - select "Logo" - click on "browse" and choose an image on your computer. This image HAS to be 150px x 135px - or you email the image and I will post it for you with the shadow and the line underneath "more details click here". If you have a problem to upload the logo, give us a call and we will do it for you.
You are almost there!
Click on "Meta info" enter your keywords: maine artist - art gallery, your name, your area...
Now you need to upload your 10 images for your details page: scroll down - you will see a large field called "gallery" and below, a field for "caption" - enter a short text - and the field "browse" - click on "browse" and choose your first image from your computer - Max size: 450px x 700px - Max weight: 100kb - click "upload". The first image will appear above the fields. Repeat this operation 10 time to upload your 10 favorite images.
The last and very IMPORTANT step: at the very bottom - accept the terms - enter the safety code - CLICK SEND. If you don't click SEND, all will be lost and you will have to start all over again.
YOU ARE DONE!
Oops! Almost forgot: $87.50 for the year for the full page with 10 photos and FREE year round updates. You can pay through Paypal (after you created your listing, a Paypal button will appear with your invoice) - your listing will not be approved untill you submit your payment - You do not have to signup with Paypal in order to make your payment: once on the Paypal page, click on the link "continue" on the left of the Login box and follow the check out.
