How to add an event

Adding an art event on Maine Art Galleries.org is FREE!

In order to add an event to M.A.D, The Maine Art Directory, you must first register - use the Login on the left  and click on "Register". Once the form is completed , you will receive an email. Please click on the confirmation link provided in the welcome email. .

Once logged in, open the calendar (top menu) - click on "Add new event" at the bottom of the calendar. A page editor will open - PLEASE DO NOT COPY AND PASTE FROM A WORD DOCUMENT - select a category (only one, to make your life easier) - enter your description without changing font size or font family - scroll down - enter the date - your contact info - your email - your website address if you have one.

Now click on the link "Calendar" (above your subject line) - enter the date or dates of your event and the time - you can check the "Help" page, last link on the right, if you need.

At this time, you may NOT add an image to your events.

You are done! But wait...don't forget to click on Save (the little diquette icon) at the top right of your screen. Otherwise, you will loose what you just did!

How To edit your event: Please login - once logged in, click on the left menu  "Art Show Calendar" (this link does not show if you are not logged in) - your events will be displayed. At the bottom of the calendar, here is 2 links: click on "Edit my events" . choose the one you wish to edit - click on "Modify" . You can now edit your event.

Again, make sure you click on the top right disquette to save your changes.
